The Quality Inspector performs product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs. This role involves performing packaging line and manufacturing inspections, as well as sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. The inspector ensures that raw materials, in-process, and finished products meet company standards. Responsibilities may also include applying approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials after analytical data evaluation, drafting procedures, assisting with validating or troubleshooting testing methods (including assays), and assessing draft and final label copy using knowledge of labeling regulations. The position aims to minimize downtime by reducing production rework and recalls.
