About The Position

This position is based at our City of Industry, CA location. This role is responsible to perform and verify visual, dimensional, electrical, mechanical, environmental, and chemical, inspection functions relating to source, first article, receiving, in process, final and test operations using company or customer supplied drawings, equipment and/or procedures. Reviews and approves inspection/test data. Able to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and procedures. Support AS9100 requirements through the QMS by supporting Quality Best Practices Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using appropriate tools and approved methods.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with AS9100 Quality System and product/process auditing techniques.
• Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area (within 50 miles) of City of Industry will be considered for this position.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
• Detailed knowledge of Aerospace products, manufacturing processes and inspection techniques.

• Certified as Internal or Lead Auditor (ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485) preferred
