About The Position

This role actively supports the execution of inspection work. As Quality Inspector II, you will work cross functionally to help ensure products comply with Angelus internal and industry standards, perform comprehensive inspections, and record detailed non-conformances. You will work to ensure we protect the customer by performing detailed inspection and preparing thorough information for our Quality Engineers and other team members. This position is located on our manufacturing floor that is clean, quiet, climate controlled, safe, and filled with abundant natural light!

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years related inspection experience.
  • Ability to use and understand various measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and pin gages to inspect complex machined, formed, cast, forged, and assembled materials.
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated and ability to multitask while taking direction
  • Experience performing detailed inspections and FAIs against AS9102 Aerospace First Article Inspection Requirement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with electrical testing on a Network Analyzer to include working knowledge of electrical characteristics such as VSWR, loss, impedance, VOP is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on cable, components and connectors against AS9102 First Article Inspection Requirement.
  • Maintain control of all non-conforming articles always ensuring their containment and disposition.
  • Demonstrates the ability to navigate uncertainty by thoroughly analyzing ambiguous specification requirements and identifying effective methods for evaluation.
  • Proactively identify and support implementation of process improvements as required.
