Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the inspection team. Lead and coach inspectors: train and mentor, monitor performance, and develop capabilities. Ensure compliance with ISO9001/AS9100 and other aerospace quality standards and legal/safety requirements. Manage inspection records and metrics: document deviations, corrective actions and maintain accurate traceability. Handle nonconforming material promptly and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions with Quality Engineering. Produce weekly inspection reports highlighting findings, trends, and improvement opportunities to support decision-making. Liaise with cross-functional teams, including production and engineering, to ensure alignment on quality standards and objectives Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and overall quality performance.
