About The Position

This position performs quality assurance activities for services provided to persons with developmental disabilities including visits to residential group homes, individual residences and day service locations. Other responsibilities include: on-site visits to ensure health, safety, and quality of life for service recipients; monitors trends in incident management reports to prevent future occurrences; conducts screenings to select individuals for waiver service opportunities. Requirements

  • Knowledge of developmental disabilities resources and services.
  • Knowledge of group mediation and problem resolution.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships by using tact and professionalism.
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, human services, special education or other education degree.
  • Three years experience providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Other equivalent combinations of related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer education and experience with Applied Behavior Analysis.
