We hope you will consider joining us as an employee owner. Summary: The QI Assistant is responsible for ensuring participant rights and enhancing service quality across Nebraska and Colorado. This includes monitoring daily Therap operations, chairing the Nebraska Human Legal Rights (HLR) Committee, supporting the Colorado HRC Liaison, and overseeing compliance with ILC policies, state regulations, and certification requirements. The role involves collaboration with management, conducting reviews, and supporting quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets common scientific and technical journals
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
  • Have the ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, and volume.
  • Have the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Have the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software; QIS system; and Therap software.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and four to six year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Successfully complete and pass all checks including: Central Registry, Criminal Background Check
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid automobile insurance

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Nebraska HLR Committee chairperson.
  • Conduct meetings at least quarterly.
  • Responsible for interim approvals.
  • Ensure ILC meets policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support Colorado HRC Liaison and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support CQO and QI Director with updating policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Complete quarterly QI reports for Nebraska and Colorado.
  • Assist with Certification Preparation for Nebraska and Colorado to include Mock Certification Reviews.
  • Critical incident review and monitoring for Nebraska and Colorado.
  • Critical incident review follow-up (GER Resolution) for Nebraska.
  • Act as back-up Therap administrator for Nebraska: handle troubleshooting, input program sites, manage access, and admit and discharge participants.
  • Complete SNAP Observations at residential and vocational locations in Nebraska and Colorado.
  • Update and development of forms agency wide.
  • Complete quarterly financial book reviews for Nebraska and semi-annual financial book reviews for Colorado.
  • All other duties as assigned.
