Today, we operate a network of Fridges and partner with clients nationwide in high-foot-traffic areas, such as airports, hospitals, universities, and large office buildings — where there is limited accessibility to fresh, healthy, grab-n-go options. About this Role: Our QFS Team ensures that our food is not only delicious but most importantly safe to eat. The Quality, Food Safety (QFS) Supervisor is responsible for ensuring food produced by the facility meets the company’s high quality and safety standards. You will manage the front-line QFS Team including Sanitation and foster relationships between the Production, Warehouse, Menu, and HR Teams.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of industry experience, including 2 years at a supervisor level
  • Familiarity with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
  • Leadership qualities–strong communicator, empathetic, humble, collaborative
  • Job Requires light lifting up to 20 lbs with frequent lifting and/or carrying up to 10 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams of Quality Technicians and Sanitation Technicians.
  • Ensure the plant is adhering to standards.
  • Oversee hiring, training, and development opportunities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of both the Quality and Sanitation teams, including but not limited to safety and chemical training, compliance programs, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with third-party sanitation team and facility team to complete master sanitation projects, post-maintenance, and construction cleaning and verification
  • Work on continuous improvement within the QFS department
  • Schedule the weekly EMP samples, and finished products samples, and ensure they are sent to the lab
  • Manage EMP program and ensure lab samples are collected and sent out as scheduled
  • Collect data and review records
  • Assist the QFS Manager
  • Delivery of plant-wide food safety training to the front-line team
  • Drive compliance in response to any trends in customer complaints or changes in regulatory requirements
