2026 Summer Internship- Quality Engineering
About The Position
The LifeNet Health summer internship is a paid ($ 20 /hour) program and includes project work that aligns with our mission Saving Lives, Restoring Health, and Giving Hope. The projects are designed to engage active learning, provide mentor relationships and leadership development over the course of a 10-week program. As a fun bonus, our interns are provided with 8 weeks of golf lessons and a set of clubs to use during the internship program with an end-of-program golf tournament! The Quality Engineering internship project will provide you with hands-on experience in a corporate environment where you will be exposed to the multiple functions of the Quality Engineering team to support the business and drive corporate initiatives. Requirements
- You must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree . Statistics coursework preferred.
- You must be a rising junior, senior, or a recent graduate in 2026 .
- You must be available to commit to the 10-week program (June 1 – August 7 ), full-time, 40 hours/week.

- Statistics coursework preferred.
Responsibilities
- Map quality workflows, noting decision points and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop statistical process control charts for metrics.
- Develop a living visual management dashboard for the KPIs.
- Support the development of a standardized packaging defect classification framework to strengthen incoming inspection and supplier quality oversite for medical grade packaging materials.
- Create visual standards and inspection aids.
