About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 05 Program Overview: We are excited to invite candidates to apply for our internship program as a Quality Engineering Intern at S&P Dow Jones Indices Division. About the Team: As a Quality Engineer Intern, you’ll be part of our platforms team, where we’re all about developing innovative technology solutions that drive real impact. You’ll collaborate with multiple internal teams in a fast-paced, exciting environment. This is your chance to be at the forefront of technology! Location: NYC office Internship Duration: June 1st – August 7th What You’ll Do: Begin with an engaging induction that covers our tech platforms, products, and systems, plus an overview of our vibrant technology community. Work alongside agile teams and grow your skills and innovate with our global tech community.

Requirements

• Current students attaining a Bachelor of Science required in Computer Science, IT Systems, Information Technology, or relevant field required, graduate degree preferred graduating in Spring/early Summer 2027.
• Foundational knowledge of programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Java, .NET, etc.), databases, data structures, and algorithms.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• A genuine passion for learning and growing in the tech field.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills—let’s build great things together!
• An eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving.
• Comfort with ambiguity and adapting to ever-changing situations.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of software or product development and coding best practices.
• Experience or certifications in areas like Cloud, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence are a plus!

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and estimate the effort needed to meet them.
• Write clean code and unit tests using languages like Java, Python
• Conduct functional testing to ensure quality.
• Document user guides and prepare operational runbooks.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and provide daily updates on your progress.
