BAE Systems F35 program is looking for a Quality Engineering Assistant to support the QAVMI QAE Team. Primary Focus is directly associated with Product Build Assembly, Inspection and Test verification. The job scope includes, but are not limited to, demonstrated working experience and knowledge of: Manufacturing environments Process Sheet Route Cards Manufacturing Instructions Product Inspection Acceptance Documentation Hands On Support to the Quality Inspection Staff Support to Program / Project Personnel Understanding of Defense Electronics Manufacturing Quality and Workmanship Requirements IPC 610 Certification Non-Conforming Material Control Process Improvement Perspective First Article Inspection (FAI) AS9102 Conduct Effective Audits Effective communication Understand and react to Program Requirements flow down
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of related experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance
- Strong and Demonstrated Communication Skills (written, verbal, visual) and interpersonal skills (listening and communicating within a group/team environment)
- Demonstrated teamwork contribution
- Attention to detail
- Produce high quality work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
- Ability to work independently and with little or no direct oversight
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s Degree
- Active Secret clearance
- Lean Six Sigma Analysis and Tools Experience
- Industry Experience in Defense Electronics Manufacturing of Complex Electronic Sub-Assemblies, LRUs and Complete Systems
- Experience with the Quality Management Systems AS9100 or ISO9001
- Familiarity with: Paperless Oracle PDM
