Quality Engineer
About The Position
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in building and sustaining high‑performing quality assurance systems that ensure our products consistently meet established standards. In this role, you will analyze quality data to uncover opportunities for improvement, plan and execute testing activities, and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to drive product quality, reliability, and continuous improvement throughout the development and production process. Components of the role will focus upon: Quality Control Systems: Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and guidelines. Testing and Inspection: Conduct tests and inspections of products and processes to identify defects and ensure they meet technical specifications. Problem Solving: Identify issues in production processes and recommend solutions to improve product quality and performance. Documentation: Create and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, quality metrics, and compliance records. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and support, to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle. Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate and monitor supplier quality performance, conducting audits and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Requirements
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field is typically required.
- Having relevant work experience in quality engineering or quality systems is essential, 3-5 years in the field.
- Proficiency in quality management systems, statistical analysis, and testing methodologies is crucial.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary to identify defects and ensure compliance with standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.
- English required; Korean language skills highly desirable
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on experience with battery pack or ESS system quality control.
- Understanding of BMS (Battery Management Systems), PCS (Power Conversion Systems).
- Experience working with global customers or regulatory compliance for international markets.
- Certifications in ISO, Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), or equivalent.
