The Quality Engineer ensures that all phases of all mission-critical projects performed by the company or its subcontractors are carried out with the desired level of quality from inception through turnover. Some things you can expect to do: Capture and share lessons learned with suppliers and project teams. Support commissioning, punch list, and turnover activities. Recommend effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions for project non-conformances and quality issues. Attend factory witness tests for Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) and CFCI equipment and systems. Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify, resolve, and implement solutions to quality issues. Provide Quality Control by reviewing Construction Documents for errors and omissions. Generate startup reports to document equipment readiness. Manage mechanical, electrical, and control systems testing and submit all related documentation, including testing and calibration reports and turnover packages. Conduct routine job site audits and site walks to ensure quality installations, compliance with codes, and adherence to safety requirements. Attend required safety training and comply with company and site safety regulations and requirements.
