You will be the Quality Engineer for the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) Program. Requirements

STEM degree at the Bachelors level or above
Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance
Experience developing quality standards, plans, methods, work instructions, and procedures for the inspection of manufactured or procured products
Able to interpret drawings and specifications to apply quality test, inspection methods and work instructions
Ability to support and report/ status multiple ongoing projects at once
Demonstrated understanding of Compliance audit techniques, AS9100 and production line validations
Ability to work independently in job tasks and problem solve using critical thinking skills
Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Demonstrated ability to use Causal Analysis tools
Experience in disposition of non-conforming products
Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Effective strong presentation and communication skills, written, oral, listening, technical writing
Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration
Experience interacting with Suppliers, Production Sites, Quality Program Management, Technical Operations, Manufacturing, Government Representatives, or other stakeholders
Ability to travel 10% - 25%
Ability to work a flexible schedule

Responsibilities

Identify and develop production strategies that reduce nonâconformances and improve yield for the GMLRS program.
Review documentation and program plans to guarantee that internal and external manufacturing processes meet quality requirements.
Support product testing, inspections, stock purges, rootâcause analysis, audits, and continuousâimprovement activities at multiple sites.
Lead or participate in materialâreview board meetings, disposition nonâconforming hardware in SAP, and drive effective corrective actions.
Facilitate and perform ISOâ9001 / AS9100 audits, lead DD250 efforts, and interface with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality issues.
