About The Position

You will be the Quality Engineer for Lockheed Martin in Grand Prairie, TX, working in the Material Test Lab. Requirements

  • STEM degree at Bachelors level or higher, preferably in Material Science, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering discipline
  • Ability to review, interpret and apply specifications to determine compliance with requirements
  • Test experience with materials and components such as electronic components, perishable materials, and raw metals
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis tools
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Ability to organize and track multiple activities and prioritize task based on importance
  • Knowledge of configuration and data management
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Power point, etc.
  • Ability to travel

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to operate equipment and machining tools in machine shop for specimen preparation.
  • ASQ CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) and / or CQIA (Certified Quality Improvement Associate)
  • SAP Application Experience
  • Experience working with government customers
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration
  • Demonstrated Presentation skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Effective Communication Skills: Written, Oral, Listening, Presentation, Technical Writing
