Arctic Cat is one of the most iconic names in powersports. We are growing fast and have an opening now for a Quality Engineer. The person stepping into this role could be new or very experienced. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field required, 10 or more years of technical experience in lieu of degree
0-2 years with degree, 10 or more years of relevant, technical experience without degree
Microsoft Office Applications, CAD, ERP/MRP preferred
Ability to read part/assembly blueprints and understand Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field required
2-5 years of experience (Level II); 5+ years of experience (Level III)

Responsibilities

Conduct field audits and vendor evaluations and investigate manufacturing or field issues as needed.
Maintain quality assurance objectives to maximize product reliability and minimize defects, field failures, scrap, and rework.
Monitor, communicate and improve key supply chain KPI’s including parts per million (PPM), line disruptions and days to close non-conforming material tickets (NCMT).
Develop, initiate and/or maintain implemented standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation.
Facilitate the deployment of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in response to quality issues as well as customer complaints through the coordination of cross-functional teams.
Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Seek and recommend ways to improve product and process capability based on company metrics.
Provide technical support and information to other departments, vendors and customers as requested based on data collected from company metrics, vendor metrics and inspection data.
Depending on experience, plan and direct and/or execute on activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for inspection processes and materials.
Lead or be a resource to small team of Quality Inspectors to ensure processes are followed and production is fully supported.
