Working in a highly collaborative environment to support our Wafer Foundry and Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit (MMIC) products, you will make impacts by: Generating First Article Inspection (FAI) reports including generation of supporting documentation with a focus complete, accurate, and timely submissions Identifying process gaps and areas for improvement; propose changes to improve processes and increase efficiency Participate in the resolution of non-conformances and corrective actions to ensure robust and sustainable improvements Support quality assurance reviews (QARs) of MMIC and external wafer lots produced by the MicroElectronics Center (MEC) for acceptance for program delivery or sell-off to an external customer. Champion and drive Continuous Improvement activities that support the ongoing effort to reduce scrap, rework and related Cost of Poor Quality Participate in, and at times lead, audit activities Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department and other functions Because this role involves collaborative/in-person work and support of production activities, it is an on-site position with a 4/10 schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in a technical field
  • Understanding of AS9100, Quality Management Systems, and AS9102, Aerospace First Article Inspection Requirements
  • Able to obtain Secret Security Clearance
  • Strong communication skills
  • Collaborative attitude with ability to work in a cross functional environment
  • Ability to learn BAE Systems software and data management programs
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in a technical field + 2 years relevant experience in Quality, Operations, or Engineering
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience working with semiconductor manufacturing
  • Experience in quality auditing
  • Familiarity with MEC Foundry Command media
  • Working knowledge of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) (i.e., PROMIS, QMS Paperless, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Enovia Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
  • Working knowledge of NetInspect First Article database
  • Proficiency in root cause and corrective action (RCCA) (8D methodology)
