About The Position

You will be the Supplier Quality Engineer Senior for the Supplier Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of products and services supplied to the PACâ3 Production program. What You Will Be Doing As the Supplier Quality Engineer Senior you will be responsible for driving supplierâfocused quality initiatives, delivering source inspections, and acting as the technical liaison for all supplierârelated quality matters.

Requirements

STEM degree at the Bachelor level or above.
Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Quality engineering experience developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.
Knowledge and experience in Quality processes and procedures.
Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test, inspection methods and work instructions.
Failure Review Board experience for troubleshooting failures and identifying resolutions including for electrical testing.
Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools.
Experience in disposition of non-conforming products.
Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management.
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Effective strong communication skills, written, oral, listening, technical writing.
Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.
Effectively interact with Suppliers, Quality Program Management, Technical Operations, Manufacturing, Government Representatives, and other stakeholders.
Demonstrated presentation skills.
Ability to travel 20% - 50%
Ability to work a flexible schedule
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN -â¯This position is located at a facility that requiresâ¯special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secretâ¯clearance. A companyâsponsored interim secret clearance is required to start.

Experience in launching new supplier and product

Responsibilities

Support scheduled product source inspections, firstâ, and productâ at supplier sites in accordance with AS2 other.
Provide internal and supplier support for rootâcause analysis and correctiveâpreventive actions tied to Supplier Corrective Action Requests.
Participate in supplier failure diagnoses and Material Review Board (MRB) activities, and generate weekly surveillance reports on supplier conformance.
Ensure supplier contract flowâdown requirements are implemented and verified while interfacing daily with suppliers.
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Subâcontracting, Program Management, customers, and suppliers to embed quality standards throughout hardware development and testing.
