About The Position

You will be the Quality Engineer for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (LMMFC) team. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a STEM related field or higher
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a secret clearance and must obtain an interim secret prior to start so therefore all candidates need to be US Citizens.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T, FMEAs, and Root Cause and Corrective Action processes.
  • Experience in Six-Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods.
  • Discrete and/or Micro-electronics experience.
  • J-STD-001/IPC-A-610 familiarization.
  • ASQ CQE.

Responsibilities

  • Review documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze and resolve process issues, driving corrective actions.
  • Lead program corrective‑action meetings and participate in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards.
  • Perform assessments and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Interface with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality‑related issues while applying lean initiatives for continuous improvement.
