About The Position

The Quality Continuous Improvement Engineer will spearhead data driven initiatives to cut scrap, rework, and repair throughout manufacturing. By spotting improvement opportunities, crafting detailed project plans, and executing them with Lean and Six Sigma tools, the engineer will deliver measurable gains. The ideal candidate is a strong analyst, seasoned in Kaizen and DMAIC methodologies, and holds a Green Belt or Black Belt.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related experience
  • 3–5 years of hands on continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills experience in Root Cause Analysis tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 8D)
  • Proficiency in QMS platforms and data analysis tools, proficiency in MS Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Effective presentation and technical writing skills

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
  • Experienced in ISO9001/AS9100 standards
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Experience in Aerospace products and manufacturing processes
  • Lean Six Sigma - Green or Black Belt Certification
  • ASQ Certifications (e.g., Manager of Quality, Organizational Excellence, or related field)
  • Aerospace Quality Standards (e.g., AS9100 Lead Auditor)

Responsibilities

  • Launching, planning, executing, and closing improvement projects with comprehensive charters, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Gathering, cleaning, and analyzing production data—scrap, rework, repair, yield, cycle time.
  • Applying Lean techniques (5S, Value Stream Mapping, SMED) and Six Sigma tools (FMEA, Pareto, hypothesis testing)
  • Collaborating with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to implement solutions.
