Quality Engineer-NPI- Level 3 and 4 The Quality Engineer-NPI is responsible for ensuring that products and manufacturing processes meet company and regulatory quality standards through the new product introduction portion of the product lifecycle. This role focuses on advanced quality planning, process validation, and problem-solving, with a particular emphasis on the development and completion of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation for both top-level assemblies and make parts. They collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, manufacturability, and compliance during design, development, and early production phases while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Data Driven Decision Making: Utilizes data analytics to inform and guide quality engineering decisions and strategies.
Quality Management Systems: Expert in implementing and optimizing quality management frameworks such as ISO 9001 and Six Sigma.
Root Cause Analysis: Skilled in conducting thorough root cause investigations using methodologies like 5 Whys and Fishbone Diagrams.
Data Analytics: Proficient in statistical analysis and data visualization tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP) to drive quality improvements.
Project Leadership: Experienced in leading cross functional quality improvement projects with moderate complexity.
Regulatory Compliance: In depth knowledge of industry specific regulations and standards to ensure product and process compliance.
Process Improvement: Adept at applying Lean and Six Sigma techniques to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
Technical Documentation: Skilled in developing and maintaining comprehensive quality documentation and reports.
Risk Management: Capable of identifying, assessing, and mitigating quality related risks in project settings.
Advanced Communication: Proficient in articulating complex quality issues and negotiating solutions with stakeholders.
