About the team: The IBS PeopleSoft Development Team supports both FIS strategic development initiatives and client‑funded custom project requests. For client‑driven work, the team evaluates incoming requests, partners with clients and engineers to define scope, and provides effort and cost estimates. For approved engagements, the team designs and delivers high‑quality custom solutions to client environments, serving both in‑house and Data Center clients. In parallel, the team contributes to strategic enhancements prioritized by FIS to continuously improve and evolve the PeopleSoft product suite. What you will be doing:

Requirements

  • Experience working with PeopleSoft Financials specifically the General Ledger and Asset Management modules or knowledge of functional business processes related to the General Ledger and Asset management modules.
  • Strong understanding of business processes related to General Ledger and Asset Management.
  • Hands‑on experience evaluating, planning, and testing PUM upgrades.
  • Proven ability to create and execute functional, integration, and user acceptance testing for system upgrades.
  • Practical Accounting and/or Banking experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of software testing methods, tools, and technologies.
  • Familiarity with quality management practices used to deliver defect‑free software aligned with client and stakeholder needs.
  • Understanding of agile development principles, processes, phases, and roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Inquisitive mindset with a willingness to ask questions and seek clarity.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and ownership of deliverables.
  • Resourceful, with the ability to dig for answers and think creatively.
  • Skill in understanding and focusing on client needs.
  • Ability to work effectively in an agile environment with close collaboration between developers and testers.
  • Ability to deliver high‑quality results under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and team‑building abilities when working with technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience

Nice To Haves

  • SQL, PeopleSoft Application Designer and PeopleSoft Test Framework experience
  • PeopleSoft/PUM upgrade experience
  • Accounts Payable experience preferable
  • Banking experience a plus
  • Microsoft office tools and Excel scripting experience

Responsibilities

  • Performs functional testing across all development projects.
  • Contributes to project estimates by defining required testing effort.
  • Collaborates with clients to understand customization requirements
  • Partners with clients to validate delivered solutions.
  • Develops and provides user documentation as needed for each project.
  • Develops, maintains, and enhances manual or automated test scripts, test cases, utilities, simulators, data sets, and other tools necessary to execute test plans.
  • Creates comprehensive test plans based on user stories and developer unit testing.
  • Communicates testing activities and findings clearly in both oral and written formats, including during daily stand‑ups, demonstrations, and Jira updates.
  • Manages and prioritizes daily testing activities independently.
  • Provides internal quality assurance to ensure delivery of high‑quality solutions.
  • Supports the product owner by identifying risks and contributing to mitigation strategies.
  • Organizes and maintains the teams’ test script repository.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
