Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of Minitab or similar statistical tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with quality systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • This internship program is a continuous program offering 29 hours a week with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily quality engineering activities related to production and product validation.
  • Support problem-solving and root cause analysis for internal and customer quality issues.
  • Participate in corrective and preventive action processes (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone).
  • Help monitor and analyze quality metrics such as scrap, defects, and rework.
  • Support inspection activities, including dimensional checks, gauge verification, and testing.
  • Assist with documentation and control of PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and work instructions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing waste and improving process capability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics) to ensure product and process compliance.
