Qualified Candidates must be rising juniors, seniors, or 2026 graduates of an accredited college or university within the past 12 months. You must be legally authorized to work in the US. Candidates must be able to work either June 2nd to August 6th or June 23rd to August 27th. For Summer 2026, our program will be hybrid from our downtown San Francisco office. Interns will come into the San Francisco office weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and work from home every Monday and Friday. The Quality Assurance Intern is responsible for assisting the team in their day-to-day QA/QC activities. In addition, you will be responsible for leading an individual project that will be presented to Quality/Technical Services leadership at the end of the summer.

Requirements

  • Rising junior, senior, or 2026 graduate of an accredited college or university within the past 12 months. (chemistry, life sciences, or related)
  • Passionate about cosmetics and skin care.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task with excellent follow-through and task completion is critical.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Optimistic and can-do attitude to help push for resolutions.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Creative problem solving and analytical skills; able to work independently to produce quality results.

Responsibilities

  • Performs inspections of bulk product, work-in-process, and finished goods manufactured by international suppliers to assess physical attributes (color, odor, appearance, texture) and compliance to standards.
  • Performs quality testing to evaluate formula and packaging performance. Documents results in test reports. Communicates conclusions to cross-functional teams.
  • Executes systems to organize product retains and quality records as required for regulatory compliance.
  • Assists Quality Assurance in complaint investigations.
  • Owns and presents an individual project at the conclusion of the internship.
  • Performs ad-hoc projects to support the team.
