Interns have the opportunity to collaborate with teams partnering with premiere Aerospace customers. We are hiring for our ASCEND program where students can present a capstone project to the CEO/President of the organization at the end of their intern experience. Interns from Acutec have gone on to fulfilling careers both at Acutec and other various Aerospace organizations. Multiple members of Acutec’s management team began working as interns before they graduated from high school or college. An internship with Acutec can be a springboard to success post-graduation! This intern will work with skilled leaders in the field.

Requirements

We are seeking someone working towards a college degree or high school diploma
3.0 GPA or higher.
Enrolled or recently graduated from a post-secondary institution
Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration, effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills, highly organized, effective at time management, process-oriented, positive attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-directed and able to work with limited supervision.
Eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with departments across the organization.
Ability to adapt and multitask with projects.
Ability to efficiently solve problems and make decisions.

Interface successfully with assigned teams.
Assist with the improvement of policies and processes to enhance productivity and eliminate waste.
Assist with strategic improvement initiatives within the organization to improve key features such as quality, delivery, cost, and safety.
Assist with day-to-day tasks as well as special projects as assigned
Completes projects accurately and as assigned, meets deadlines under normal working conditions.

Successfully complete all assigned trainings including Acutec Culture training and Safety training.
Assist in the creation of Acutec’s new planning tool.
When necessary, collaborate with manufacturing planning to assist in the creation of routing for new parts.
Utilize proprietary software to connect our new planning application to our current work instructions application.
Translate legacy manufacturing routing into dynamic records within the new system.
