About The Position

We’re looking for people who put their innovation to work to advance our success – and their own. Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: This role is ideal for a Quality Engineer who enjoys working cross‑functionally, using data to solve problems, and making a direct impact on product quality and customer satisfaction. Facilitate proactive problem solving across both product and manufacturing processes, with a strong focus on prevention, root cause analysis, and long‑term corrective actions rather than quick fixes. Own process and product quality by performing process validations, incoming and in‑process inspections, and analyzing manufacturing data to ensure consistent, high-quality output. Partner cross‑functionally with design, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams to collect and analyze data, assess process capability, and drive continuous quality improvements. Protect the customer experience by leading containment activities to prevent potential or recurring quality issues and ensuring issues are addressed thoroughly and effectively. Perform APQP and PPAP activities by preparing clear, well‑documented submissions for both internal and customer use, while working closely with suppliers, operations, and customers. Ensure measurement accuracy and compliance by selecting and using appropriate inspection tools and equipment to verify dimensional and functional requirements. Monitor and improve performance by developing and maintaining control charts and using data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Analyze and disposition product/component issues (Material Review Board) through structured product reviews and failure analysis to determine root cause and next steps. Support audits and quality standards by assisting with internal and external audits, training teams on quality requirements, and participating in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain reliable measurement systems by leading or supporting calibration of inspection, test, and measurement equipment. Build a culture of quality by helping train and certify team members on quality standards, tools, and best practices.
