About The Position

Executes testing and inspection for all products. Conduct process analysis  Assist with product defect analysis Basic knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, and Operator work instructions Ability to train, educate and coach operations team members regarding quality issues Perform incoming inspection of supplier products and materials.  Ability to make decisions of defects Conduct quality audits in different production areas. Perform Quality Boards (Using boundary samples) Update inspection records and product receipt files Interact with the suppliers, customers, production and engineering to determine and provide feedback on cause and corrective action for internal/external customer concerns Monitors and /or assists with the corrective action implementation Review and assist with 5X and 10Xs Assist and support Quality Engineers for internal and external quality issues Applies statistical techniques to evaluate inspection needs  Monitor and meet 6S standards. Must be committed to a high standard of safety and willingness and able to comply with all safety laws and safety policies and rules. Must be available and willing to work overtime per day or per week as determined necessary to meet business needs. Must be regularly available and willing to work at least 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week

Requirements

  • Self-motivated, confident in decision making process and assertive.
  • High School Diploma with 3 –5 years of job experience requiring decision-making based on specifications and quality guidelines or a bachelor's degree in quality.
  • Strong computer software knowledge to preform charts, manage data, and review customer portals
  • Ability to read, analyze, and understand technical procedures and drawings.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in a verbal or written form.
  • Must be able to read and understand basic safety and work instructions.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
