Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer Analyst to lead quality assurance and supplier quality initiatives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. This strategic, hands-on role will strengthen our Quality Management System (QMS), drive root cause analysis, and champion continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • 7–10 years of progressive quality engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial components
  • Expertise in GD&T, QA/QC inspections, and quality reporting
  • Proven track record of leading defect reduction initiatives and supplier quality programs with measurable ROI
  • Advanced knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949 compliance frameworks
  • Proficiency in Six Sigma, Lean, SPC, PPAP
  • Experience leading supplier development and global sourcing quality
  • Skilled in statistical software (Minitab, JMP, or equivalent)
  • Strong presentation skills for executive and customer-facing reports
  • Direct experience in aerospace, defense, semiconductor, or automotive Tier 1/Tier 2 supply chains
  • Leadership in new product introduction (NPI) with design-for-manufacturability/testing integration
  • History of delivering double-digit reductions in defects and measurable improvements in supplier performance

  • Six Sigma Black Belt or ASQ CQE/CQA preferred
  • Recognized quality certifications (ASQ CQE, CQA, or CMQ/OE)

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001, AS9100, and IATF 16949 standards
  • Lead internal, customer, and supplier audits; ensure timely closure of findings
  • Drive root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA, and FMEA processes for measurable improvements
  • Oversee AS9102 First Article Inspections, PPAPs, and customer-specific quality deliverables
  • Develop and present quality dashboards, KPIs, and risk assessments to leadership and customers
  • Direct Lean and Six Sigma projects to improve yield, reduce cost of quality, and prevent defects
  • Mentor and train cross-functional teams to embed a culture of quality and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations on NPI, DFM/DFT, and lifecycle quality requirements
  • Support facility safety programs and ensure alignment between safety and quality systems
