About The Position

At BETA Technologies, we apply our intellectual curiosity, passion for aviation, and commitment to sustainability toward a shared mission of revolutionizing electric aviation. Regardless of the position one holds, each team member brings their talent and desire to positively impact the environment and lives of others in a refreshing, vibrant, and inclusive culture. As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a vital role in optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of quality in the production of our electric aircraft. This position requires a hands-on approach to analyze workflows, design efficient systems, and collaborate across teams to meet production goals while maintaining sustainability practices. How will you contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation: Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain quality standards. Develop and implement systems to monitor and control production workflows, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and quality assurance, to refine production methods and address challenges. Create and maintain detailed documentation, including process maps, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance productivity. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor production performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and equipment to support efficient manufacturing processes. Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards in all manufacturing activities. Identify and implement lean principles, flow balance and theories of constraints. Establish increasingly accurate data driven models of future production scenarios used for strategic and capital planning.
