Ensure the integrity and functionality of low voltage electrical assemblies by conducting thorough testing and verification processes. This includes detecting and diagnosing issues, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining high-quality performance of electrical systems. Inspect and electrical test low voltage products produced on all lines, according to inspection work instructions and in accordance with applicable governmental requirements. Confirm proper function per test scripts, identify any product non-conformances, and ensure it meets customer specifications, safety, and quality requirements. Document inspections on the applicable checklist. Perform final and in-process inspections across product lines. Program controllers and conduct electrical testing of low voltage assembly products. Perform inspections and audits of mechanical and electrical assemblies. Follow applicable test procedures and component literature, including the Universal Voltage Cart. Use Hi-Pot, continuity test, and component-specific testing devices to perform electrical testing. Verify torqued connections using a torque wrench, per inspection instructions. Conduct electrical and mechanical tests per safety and training requirements and procedures. Verify that any revisions released to the production floor regarding functionality and customer specifications are incorporated into the product. Ensure all documentation reflects the current revision, and previous revisions of documents are not used/discarded. (Process and update paperwork accurately - POM, test reports, etc.) Thoroughly document and communicate non-conformances, which are critical quality records, and verify required rework to aid problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts.
