About The Position

Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. Assists in the implementation of the Hospital Performance Improvement Plan by collecting, reporting, and analyzing data: identifying and addressingopportunities for coordinating activities and supporting the development and implementation of medical staff and hospital service performance improvementinitiatives. Assists in achieving compliance with regulatory and accrediting agency standards. Requirements

  • Per RN licensure requirement.
  • Two years clinical experience in an acute care setting.
  • Registered Nurse in Texas or compact
  • Knowledge of licensure, regulations, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and state/federal standards.
  • Knowledge of Performance Improvement methodology and Outcomes Management.
  • Ability to work with spreadsheets and databases required.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, data assemble and action planning ability leading to development of action plans that will prove helpful in achieving measurable objectives.
  • Ability to organize, formulate, educate and facilitate problem solving teams.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work without supervision towards a desired outcome.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Statistical analysis skills preferred.
