Dolese Delivers: Stable Foundation Treat with Respect Safe Environments Employee Focus JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the sampling, inspecting and testing of all produced materials (aggregate, sand, etc.) and compare against specifications.

Requirements

  • Must be able to quickly understand and adhere to safety requirements of this position.
  • Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including swing shift, graveyard shift, over time and weekends as required.
  • Ability to work near, around or on light or heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Work safely and take actions to prevent all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.
  • Obtain samples on various aggregate products following ASTM and ODOT standards.
  • Capable of performing a particle size analysis of coarse and fine aggregate according to ASTM and ODOT Specifications.
  • Preparing samples of products for customers and testing laboratories.
  • Records and maintains test data and other required information. This includes both written records and data input into a personal computer.
  • Performs necessary housekeeping functions in laboratory area.
  • Performs daily maintenance on lab and test equipment.
  • Regular, reliable attendance at the worksite or assigned work location.
  • Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
