The Quality Control Technician reports to the Production Manager/Supervisor and is responsible for conducting all necessary testing analysis to ensure products meet specifications before release.

Requirements

One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and quality control software.
Demonstrates versatility and ability to maintain multiple tasks
Strong organizational skills in providing sample analysis.

Responsibilities

Performs required sample analysis, collection, prepping, assembly.
Completes data entry of test results and maintain records.
Respond to quality questions from customers and handle quality issues from supervisors and operators.
Operates laboratory equipment; both manual and automatic.
Processes incoming samples and assists in processing outgoing samples.
All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or designated person.
