As a quality control technician, you will be ensuring that each Foot-Levelers and Foot-Maxx custom orthotic prescription is correct based on the Orthotic Layout Tech (Foot-Levelers) or the Clinical Service Group (Foot-Maxx) has prescribed for the patient. You will need to express a high attention to detail who takes responsibility for ensuring our customers are getting the highest quality custom orthotics.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • High attention to detail, and cognitive skills
  • Ability to stand for 7-9 hours per shift
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all orders meet or exceed the quality standards of Foot-Levelers and Foot-Maxx respectively
  • The ability to read and understand prescriptions, which will include medical terminology for both orthotic providers based on the following:
  • Corrections
  • Placement of corrections
  • Custom orthotic type selected
  • Aesthetic quality
  • Correct quantity of items purchased
  • Express open communication with your lead/supervisor on trending issues, or operational issues such as equipment functionality.
  • Collaborate with your lead and other Quality Control Technicians to ensure proper workflow.
  • Help in other areas of production if work is limited in your area. (If applicable)
  • Ability to use QC software, and Lucious Order View (internal)
  • Daily quota of ~350+ (Foot-Levelers) and ~200+ (Foot-Maxx) orders QC’ed.
