About The Position

The QC Technician ensures compliance with quality and food safety standards by performing inspections, audits, and testing of raw materials and finished products. This role plays a key part in maintaining product integrity and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• 1+ year of experience in food manufacturing, quality, or packaging
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Requires adherence to strict safety and PPE guidelines

Nice To Haves

• Associate or bachelor’s in science preferred
• Knowledge of GMPs and quality systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process batches, and finished goods
• Compare test results to specifications and document findings
• Maintain accurate quality records and generate reports
• Conduct sanitation and quality audits
• Monitor production lines for compliance with procedures
• Perform equipment calibration and verification checks
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Ensure adherence to GMP and safety standards
• Assist with recalls, mock recalls, and certification processes
• Enter and manage production/quality data in systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and leadership
