About The Position

Position Overview: The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for testing, sampling and inspection within the Quality Department. He or she will be a team player, quick learner and have attention to detail. Responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician: Testing of food products and raw materials Following strict regulatory and safety guidelines Calibrate instruments and follow GMP’s Assist with internal audits and keep a detailed lab notebook Communicate professionally with the quality team as well as others. Inspect the facility for regulatory compliance Assist the team as needed with sanitation, inventory andhousekeeping

Requirements

  • Experience performing quality testing in a food or beverage company
  • The ability to think and work independently, do basic math and communicate in a professional manner
  • Knowledge of food regulations like SQF, FSMA or HACCP
  • High School Diploma or GED highly preferred
  • Associate’s or Technical degree in the sciences
