About The Position

Assist in the development and testing of concrete mixes for bridge construction projects. Perform basic quality control tasks under supervision to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (technical training in construction materials preferred).
• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing).
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with construction materials or lab work.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions

Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare samples of concrete, aggregates, and other materials.
• Conduct basic tests on fresh concrete (slump, air content, temperature).
• Assist in preparing and curing concrete test cylinders for strength testing.
• Record test results accurately and maintain documentation.
• Support senior technicians in mix design adjustments and quality checks.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
