About The Position

The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and monitoring the testing of parts and products to ensure compliance to established quality standards. This includes the development of assigned personnel to the quality standards. This person will also notify the production supervisor of found quality issues and work in a team environment to develop standards/processes to eliminate future occurrences. ___________________________________________________________________________________________

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2-year Associate Degree a plus.
  • 3+ years of quality experience.
  • 1+ year of related manufacturing and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to methodically, strategically, and collaboratively make decisions, solve problems, and foster innovation.
  • Must be detail oriented and the ability to document findings.
  • Solid verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • Use of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel required.
  • Good energy and a positive attitude.
  • Time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Candidates must successfully complete criminal and motor vehicle background check
  • Able to function capably in a production environment using standard equipment (Calibrated measuring equipment, gauges, inspection fixtures, etc.)
  • Must be able to function in an office environment using standard technology (computer, printer, fax, phone, etc.).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequently lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing over 10 pounds.
  • Must be able to complete production-related physical activities (walking, standing, talking, hearing, pushing, reaching, seeing, stooping/crouching, smelling, depth perception, identifying colors) as needed.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to produce.
  • Participate in required company safety programs, trainings and PPE guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect for defects or non-performing items during final and in-process production by confirming specifications on upfitted vehicles.
  • Document and report on non-conforming parts and product.
  • Calculate payload and apply decals on upfitted vehicles.
  • Perform required inspection testing with calibrated equipment.
  • Maintain inspection pictures on the network drive.
  • Maintain organization and quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results.
  • Comply with Driverge’s Core Values always (LOVE IT).
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
