Responsible for ensuring that all work performed by inspectors under their supervision, whether in-house or by subcontractor, is performed in an airworthy manner and in compliance with approved technical data.
Requirements
- F.A.A. A and P license required AND minimum of four years’ large transport category aircraft maintenance experience including two years’ inspector experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Previous supervisor experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervise, direct and assist the inspectors assigned to the Quality Control Department.
- Responsible for making periodic checks on inspection tools and for the calibration of test equipment and precision tools.
- Responsible for assuring continuity of the inspection function and completion of required inspections during all shifts.
- Participate in interviewing internal/external candidates for Quality Control Inspector positions.
- Has countermand authority on airworthiness matters over all QC Inspectors.
