As a Quality Supervisor, you are responsible for testing and evaluating products at various stages of the production process and for maintaining quality standards. Monitor GMP adherence thought production facility and recommend any corrective action.

Requirements

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer and mathematical skills to calibrate and measure specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Teamwork and collaboration
  • Work extended hours during our peak season.
  • Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Nightly supervision of all quality and sanitation personnel during the canning season
  • Tracking and ordering lab supplies
  • Daily pre-op inspections
  • Pre- pack prep work, including in-house calibrations and updating of forms and policies.
  • Perform audits to monitor compliance with all GMP standards, Food Safety Standards
  • Review and organize plant processing records for conformance with regulations and Company policy before review by the Quality Assurance Manager
  • Provide employee training for WeighMate, Sanitation, Can Seams, Finished Product Grading, and Statistical Process Control.
  • Verify case & label procedures daily.
  • Certified or able to become certified in Better Process Control School, Thermal Processing, and Container Closure
