About The Position

This position involves managing process and product inspection, conducting process and product audits, and analyzing quality data to monitor and improve quality. The supervisor will lead efforts to analyze, handle, follow up, and improve internal quality issues, and supervise Outgoing Quality Control inspectors. Responsibilities also include conducting risk analysis and decision-making, assisting with customer complaints, and supporting second and third-party audits. Key duties include preparing inspection standards and test specifications for product production processes, establishing and maintaining production reserved samples, defect samples, and limit samples. The role requires supervising personnel to inspect the quality of semi-finished and finished products and process quality according to established standards. The supervisor will also prepare and organize the implementation of MSA plans, proposing improvement actions for unacceptable results. Training operators and online inspectors on evaluating and handling non-conforming products, and establishing/maintaining product repair/rework specifications are also part of the role. Data collection and report summarization for daily, weekly, and monthly quality department reviews are essential. The position involves preparing and implementing product and process audit specifications and plans, tracking their implementation, and ensuring the removal of nonconforming items. Participation in product inspections and sample reviews during new product development, quality gate reviews before mass production, and process reviews is required. The supervisor will also participate in various process, internal, and external audits organized by the company and organize regular reviews of company fixture and mold test tools, managing process change points. Furthermore, the role is responsible for timely responses to and proper handling of quality problems during production, reporting material quality abnormalities, and managing customer complaints and returns, tracking the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions. It involves establishing and implementing process statistics and analysis to identify deficiencies or risk points related to process capability and continuously improve process and product quality, as well as preparing regular process quality analysis reports. Other duties include direct supervision of Quality Control Supervisors within the workshop, training and verifying quality inspection skills for operators and online inspectors, and compiling, archiving, and transferring materials related to new product development processes. The role requires preparing and submitting daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly/annual quality reports, and process and product audit reports. Management reserves the right to assign or re-assign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers.
  • 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experienced in production line and QC of the company over one year.
  • Associate's degree or above.
  • Regularly required to stand for long periods.
  • Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip).
  • Visual acuity including: NEAR ACUITY (Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less), FAR ACUITY (Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more), DEPTH PERCEPTION (Three-dimensional vision), COLOR VISION (Ability to identify and distinguish colors), FIELD OF VISION (Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point).

Responsibilities
