Requirements

Previous warehouse experience
Forklift and other power equipment operation experience
A positive attitude and ability to learn

Nice To Haves

Some quality control experience is preferred in a high volume distribution center

Responsibilities

Ensures inventory accuracy; adjusts inventory in system when necessary
Maximize space and tracks item locations
Pull Count Report daily
Perform all Immediate Counts first thing daily, a fter immediate Counts are completed and resolved, complete daily Advanced Cycle Counts
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies found between the inventory count and the physical counts
Partner with Sales, Receiving, Shipping, and any other parties to find out why discrepancies occurred
Report to Supervisor any findings regarding adjustments that may be made to procedures to prevent future discrepancies
Perform all Immediate Counts (Back Order Investigations) first thing daily, investigating and resolving any discrepancies found between the inventory count and the physical counts
Log Unquality Events (UETs) for Back Orders
Weekly Future Purchase Order Analysis for Space Management
Investigate and resolve each item discrepancy as necessary
Adjust counts in system as required and track dollar value of adjustments
Maximize location space for items as needed, move items from secondary/overstock locations to primary locations as needed, or as informed by Pickers
Functions as a back-up to Distribution Associates when needed
