About The Position

The Quality Control Representative will play a critical role in managing projects and ensuring RoofingSource quality standards are maintained by production crews on a daily basis. This position will work closely with the Production Manager and the Project Managers. Understanding manufacturer specifications, communication, and reporting will be crucial for the success of this position.

Requirements

• Prior roofing or related trade experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively
• Ability to operate handheld technology such as tablets and/or smartphones

Responsibilities

• Traveling to provide oversight, communication, and reporting on roofing projects
• Ensure the production crews are maintaining RoofingSource standards of safety, quality, productivity, and representing RoofingSource to company standards
• Sending daily reports, RSICrew app, email, and verbal communications on a daily basis
• Ensure roofing projects are installed to meet manufacturer specifications.
• Ensuring that SOW is being fully understood and adhered to by production crews.
• Conducting inspections to ensure work complies with quality and/or safety standards in collaboration with the Safety & Project Coordinator
• Ensuring the production crew is using all necessary tools, equipment, and safety equipment.
• Ensuring that all equipment, tools, and PPE are up to RoofingSource standards and in proper working condition.
• Coordinate with Manufacturer Representatives to complete inspections while the production crew is onsite, completing the project.
• Transportation of material needed and documentation of material not used, so that it can be properly tracked and used for future projects
• Perform service calls, leak repairs, maintenance, and other repairs, and reroof projects.
