About The Position

This position is Contingent Upon Contract Award. Serves as the technical and administrative head of the NDI department, holding the ultimate responsibility for all NDI procedures, certifications, and compliance. Performs duties of a QC Inspector.

Requirements

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) and Inspection Authority (IA) certification.
  • Certified NDI Level III per NAS 410 or equivalent standard.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of aircraft maintenance and inspection experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of FARs, QCM, and NDI procedures.
  • Strong leadership and administrative skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and inspection skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
  • Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in confined spaces.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance as required by the contract (Public Trust or Secret level, as applicable).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with rotary-wing aircraft.
  • Prior work in a military or government aviation environment.
