Quality Control Manager
About The Position
American Facility Services (AFS) is seeking a responsible, dependable custodian to step into a Custodian Quality Control Manager role. This position is well suited for someone with hands-on custodial experience who is accountable, organized, and comfortable managing quality and supplies across multiple locations. The role involves inspecting buildings, ensuring proper cleaning, managing supplies, and supporting custodial staff, while also performing cleaning and floor care tasks as needed. Requirements
- Custodial or janitorial experience
- Strong sense of accountability and reliability
- Takes ownership of work and follows through
- Organized and detail oriented
- Comfortable working independently
- Willing to help others and lead by example
- Good driving record
- Own vehicle for driving to and from locations
- Personal cell phone required for timekeeping
- Must be able to drive between locations to deliver supplies and perform every day tasks
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record required
Responsibilities
- Inspect buildings to ensure cleaning is completed properly
- Be accountable for quality, follow up, and reporting issues
- Help cover cleaning duties when staff are absent
- Travel between multiple locations as needed
- Support and guide custodial staff
- Manage, distribute, and deliver cleaning supplies and equipment to other locations
- Track inventory and ensure all sites are properly stocked
- Perform regular cleaning and floor care tasks as required
