Requirements

  • Current CPR First Aid Card Required
  • OSHA 30 Hour Construction Required
  • Contractor Quality Management CQM for USACENAVFAC Required
  • Relevant QC experience required
  • Ability to perform basic word processing and generate spreadsheets as necessary
  • Also access and use the Internet and E mail
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee may regularly be required to stand bend squat sit demonstrate manual dexterity climb stairs and ladders work on elevated platforms talk hear and see
  • On occasion may be required to lift moderately heavy objects up to 50 pounds during the workday
  • Specific abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust and focus

Responsibilities

  • Verify construction is performed in accordance with the contract specifications and drawing requirements through preparatory planning inspection and record review
  • Lead preparatory meetings and communicate the contractual quality requirements to the subcontractors so that quality objectives are achieved
  • Manage the receiving process for all incoming shipments of materials and equipment ensuring the materials are properly stored and maintained
  • Perform a detailed inspection and review at the beginning of each work phase
  • Perform random inspections according to contract specifications and review quality assurance documents as they are issued
  • Manage a final punch out inspection process of each system at time of completion
  • Review subcontractor procedures and quality records to verify contract compliance
  • Confirm project documents used at the jobsite are updated maintained and stored appropriately
  • Confirm contractual non conformance issues are identified documented tracked and resolved in an acceptable manner
  • Review and analyze the project master punch list for completion
  • Manage regular quality meetings with client and subcontractors
  • Ensure that all construction is built in accordance with the plans specifications code requirements safety requirements and good construction practices
  • Evaluate quality of work and report any issues
  • Assist in facilitating proactive solutions to any issues RFIs or questions that arise
  • Establish risk factors then manage and mitigate them to ensure construction goes smoothly and on schedule
  • Collaborate and provide inputfeedback to the Project Manager and client as needed
