About The Position

On-Target Supplies & Logistics, Ltd. is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across all logistics activities, including warehousing, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and client service. This role leads quality initiatives, conducts operational audits, identifies process gaps, and drives corrective actions in partnership with operations and leadership teams. The position plays a critical role in reducing errors, improving efficiency, and supporting scalable processes as the company continues to grow.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or operations within logistics, warehousing, or supply chain environments
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, operational audits, and continuous improvement tools
  • Experience with CAPA, root cause analysis, and process improvement methodologies
  • Proficiency with QMS platforms, WMS data, and analytical tools
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in 3PL, distribution, or transportation environments
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
  • Knowledge of freight operations, warehouse processes, and regulatory requirements related to logistics
  • While not required, candidates with SAP Quality Management certification and familiarity with ISO standards are preferred.
  • If hired, the selected candidate will be expected to obtain the SAP Quality Management certification within the first six months of employment to better support their role and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality control processes to ensure product and service excellence.
  • Conduct internal audits and manage quality documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and logistics, to resolve quality issues.
  • Provide training on quality control procedures and support for SAP system users.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
