About The Position

The Quality Control Manager oversees all aspects of contract quality under the TADSS program at Fort Hood, Texas, ensuring services continually meet or exceed contract and government standards. This leader is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing the Quality Control Plan (QCP) and supporting continual performance improvement in accordance with ISO 9001 standards. As a key point of contact for quality assurance and compliance, the Quality Control Manager works collaboratively with project leadership and government representatives, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of deliverables associated with TADSS support services.

Requirements

  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • Minimum 5 years as Quality Control Manager within the last 10 years (PWS 1.10b)
  • Thorough knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System Standard (PWS 1.10b)
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining contract-level Quality Control Plans
  • Active SECRET personnel security clearance (DISS)
  • Proficiency in quality audit, documentation, and root-cause analysis
  • Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Proficient English (written/verbal)
  • Professional, courteous, and able to interact with government staff
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, database interfaces)
  • Timely, accurate documentation and reporting skills
  • All personnel must identify themselves appropriately as contractors
  • Ability to perform onsite work in office/warehouse environment
  • Some light lifting (<30 lbs) and ability to move within facility/warehouse
  • Capable of working in standard climate-controlled and potentially non-climate-controlled settings

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and update the Quality Control Plan (QCP) annually and as required
  • Oversee compliance with all contract performance standards, deliverables
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for non-conforming work
  • Prepare and submit required analysis of QCP, support performance reviews and audits
  • Ensure accurate tracking of keys, government furnished property (GFP), warehouse assets, and maintenance logs
  • Interface with Contracting Officer and COR regarding quality issues, corrective actions, and improvements
  • Maintain all QC-related documentation for the life of the contract plus 5 years
  • Train and guide staff on maintaining compliance with ISO 9001, Army standards, and contract requirements
