Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Position requires candidate to be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20).

Responsibilities

• Make detailed inspection of assemblies, parts and finished products.
• Work within very close limits and tolerances using precision measuring instruments.
• Perform high-grade inspection work and exercise good judgement.
• Read blueprints and understand the use of various gauges.
• Perform incoming, electroplating and final inspections.
• Review Drawings and procedures as needed (with some initial instruction on Delta methods) and perform the needed work to assure the parts/products conform to requirements and enter data as needed in reports.
• Analyze discrepant parts/products to determine root cause of the defect or non-conformance and aid in the corrective and preventative actions required.
• Learn functions and proper use of the various measurement tools, electronic test devices, mechanical gages, and misc. hand tools used to inspect quality/dimensions of product/parts for conformity to requirements.
• Use Internal Electronic Information Data Base, accessed by Computer Terminal, to retrieve information relevant to Document changes and new designs as needed.
