The Quality Control Inspector plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GAT processes. This position is responsible for performing incoming and outgoing inspections of aircraft parts and materials along with required production procedures. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Quality Control, the ideal individual should be quality and detail-oriented, self-motivated, reliable, and able to multi-task, to perform each essential duty according to quality standards and expectations. This role is located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Important Notice : Eligibility Requirement : Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.

Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate effectively (oral and written)
  • Possess strong organizational, analytical, and administrative skills
  • Demonstrate ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
  • Familiar with ATA106 and ATA300 Specifications
  • Familiar with ISO9001, AS9120 and ASA-100 standards
  • Familiar with procedures for completion of ATA106 certificate
  • Familiar with procedures for Maintenance Release certificates such as 8130’s, EASA Form One, Canadian Form one, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) as well as basic mathematical skills
  • 1-2 yrs. of experience in Quality Control processes
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) as well as basic mathematical skills

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a complete visual inspection of all incoming parts and materials.
  • Handle material with necessary precautions and in accordance with requirements for safe handling
  • Conduct a complete vision inspection of all items being shipped
  • Control of non-conforming materials
  • Certification and release of materials
  • Read and understand traceability documents
  • Quality oriented, attention to detail, self-motivated, reliable and able to multi-task when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
