About The Position

Foresight Technologies is looking to hire a Quality Control Inspector. A Quality inspector will be responsible for conducting quality inspections on incoming, in-process and final production. Along with Finished products to ensure compliance of specifications and standards., check equipment for proper orientation, documentation of inspection results, and other duties as needed and/or required. The ideal candidate will show proven reliability, pay close attention to detail, self-motivated, coachable, knowledgeable with working and handling plastics and metal products, familiar with various inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges), highly competent in reading and interpreting manufacture drawings (blueprints), and knowledgeable of QMS AS9102 Standards. This position requires excellent communication skills (verbal and written), the ability to work on several projects at the same time, detail oriented. Equipment: Calipers, Micrometers, Gage blocks, Thread gages, Software: Discus, Unipoint, Microsoft Office, Adobe Requirements Key Responsibilities Perform in-process and final inspections of aerospace components and assemblies Interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and work instructions Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and CMM equipment Verify compliance with AS9100, customer, and regulatory requirements Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 standards Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records Identify non-conforming materials and initiate NCR documentation Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities Review material certifications and traceability documentation Ensure proper handling and storage of aerospace parts Participate in internal and external audits Qualifications High school diploma or GED required (Technical certification preferred) 3+ years of quality inspection experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Experience working within AS9100 quality systems Knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements Proficiency using precision inspection tools and CMM (preferred) Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and quality documentation software Skills & Competencies Exceptional attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and make sound quality decisions Effective written and verbal communication Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Work Environment Aerospace manufacturing environment May require standing for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25–40 lbs Use of PPE as required May require overtime depending on production demands Foresight Technologies is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required (Technical certification preferred)
  • 3+ years of quality inspection experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Experience working within AS9100 quality systems
  • Knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements
  • Proficiency using precision inspection tools and CMM (preferred)
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and quality documentation software
